APIBox User Tier and Pricing Rules

An explanation of the current APIBox Default, VIP, and SVIP tiers, including model access scope, upgrade rules, and cross-tier pricing multipliers.

This article explains the current APIBox user tiers, model access scope, and pricing rules.

The current user system has three tiers: Default, VIP, and SVIP. Users can access models within their own tier and can also call models from other tiers. Cross-tier usage is billed with different pricing multipliers.

User tiers

APIBox currently has the following three user tiers:

  1. Default
  2. VIP
  3. SVIP

Model access scope

Default tier

The Default tier can use:

  • all regular models except Claude

VIP tier

The VIP tier can use:

  • all models included in the Default tier
  • Claude models

SVIP tier

The SVIP tier can use:

  • all models included in the VIP tier
  • the full Claude Code model set

When creating a token in the console, the corresponding tier can be selected directly in the Token Group field.

Tier upgrade rules

The current upgrade rules are as follows:

Rule summary:

  • Newly registered users enter the Default tier
  • Any recharge upgrades the user to VIP
  • A user is upgraded to SVIP when either of the following conditions is met:
    • a single recharge of 500 CNY
    • a cumulative recharge of 1000 CNY

Pricing multiplier rules

Users can call models in their own tier and also models in other tiers. The pricing multipliers for each user tier are as follows:

Rule details

Default-tier users

  • Using Default-tier models is billed at 1x
  • Using VIP-tier models is billed at 2x
  • Using SVIP-tier models is billed at 5x

VIP-tier users

  • Using Default-tier models is billed at 0.8x
  • Using VIP-tier models is billed at 0.8x
  • Using SVIP-tier models is billed at 1.2x

SVIP-tier users

  • Using Default-tier models is billed at 0.7x
  • Using VIP-tier models is billed at 0.7x
  • Using SVIP-tier models is billed at 0.7x

Frequently asked questions

What tier do new users start with?

New users start in the Default tier.

What tier does a user get after a recharge?

Any recharge upgrades the user to VIP.

What qualifies a user for SVIP?

A user is upgraded to SVIP when either of the following conditions is met:

  • a single recharge of 500 CNY
  • a cumulative recharge of 1000 CNY

Can users call models outside their own tier?

Yes. APIBox supports cross-tier model usage, but the corresponding pricing multiplier will apply.

Does the SVIP tier use a unified multiplier for all models?

Yes. Under the current rules, SVIP users are billed at 0.7x when using Default-tier, VIP-tier, or SVIP-tier models.
