Terms of Service
Last updated:January 1, 2025
Welcome to APIBox. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. By registering an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
APIBox provides a large language model (LLM) API gateway service. Users can access third-party AI models — including Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, and others — through our OpenAI-compatible interface. We are an independent intermediary service provider and are not officially affiliated with or endorsed by any of the underlying AI model providers.
2. Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age, or have full legal capacity, to register an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and keeping your API Keys confidential. Do not share your API Keys with others.
- Any losses resulting from unauthorized disclosure of your account credentials are your sole responsibility.
- Each individual or organization may register only one primary account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit promotional offers is prohibited.
3. Top-Ups and Billing
- This service operates on a prepaid basis. Top-up balances are denominated in USD and are deducted based on actual usage.
- Top-up payments are non-refundable as a general policy. If you have exceptional circumstances, please contact our support team.
- Prices may be adjusted in response to market conditions. We will announce any price changes in advance.
- API calls will be automatically suspended when your account balance is insufficient; no negative balance or debt will accrue.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this service for any of the following purposes:
- Generating content that violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Generating content involving violence, pornography, discrimination, hate speech, or other prohibited material;
- Launching network attacks or abusive requests (e.g., DDoS attacks) against our platform or any third-party systems;
- Reselling or distributing API Keys obtained through this service without authorization;
- Using bots, scripts, or other automated means to maliciously consume system resources;
- Circumventing or bypassing rate limits or security mechanisms implemented by this platform.
5. Service Availability
We are committed to providing a stable and reliable service; however, we are not liable for:
- Changes, outages, or discontinuation of interfaces by third-party AI model providers;
- Service interruptions caused by force majeure events (including natural disasters, regulatory changes, or other events beyond our control);
- Service unavailability during scheduled maintenance windows (advance notice will be provided).
6. Intellectual Property
The code, design, documentation, and other materials comprising the APIBox platform are owned by us. Content you generate through the API belongs to you; we claim no rights to it and assume no legal responsibility for it.
7. Privacy
Our practices regarding user data are described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
This service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use this service.
9. Account Termination
You may request account cancellation at any time. If we determine that you have violated these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban your account without prior notice. Any remaining balance will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on the platform in advance. Continued use of our services following such announcement constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.
